Bow-chicka-bow-bow!

Before I start with my controversial post, I would like to make it clear to everyone that I love America. I love freedom. I love equality (to bad it doesn't exist in the US of A). And on to the post.

What I don't like about America is the conservative jingoistic mentality of the majority of the nation. Most people are too stupid or too non-perceptive to realize what is really happening in the world and that America ISN'T number one. America isn't even number fucking two, really. I'd say America was about number... 8? Anyway, the majority of Americans don't care enough to vote, or vote for stupid reason. I think that a MANDITORY test should be given before someone is allowed to vote. Anyone who fails, doesn't get their vote counted.

In my ideal world of coolness and kick-assery, there are no conservatives telling me that war is good.

There would be freedom of choice. I don't care what a woman does to her body, she can abort her unborn baby anytime before the 1st trimester and I am perfectly fine with it. (IMO, the second trimester is when the baby becomes concious/human. I don't care unless you kill concious beings.) Opponents of Abortion wouldn't call themselves Pro-Life, which is misleading. Saying that you are pro-life implies that the other side is pro-death, which is just SLANDEROUS. Opponents to abortion can call themselves Anti-choice, or Anti-abortion, they still deliver the same message, but without slanderous conotations. If anyone can give me a good reasons to outlaw abortions, send it to kidonpatrol@bellsouth.net .

There would be seperation of church and state. Believe whatever you want to, but don't force it on others. To quote Eric Schwartz: "Who the fuck are you to turn your views into my laws?". What place does religion have in a country that promotes "equality for all"? Take "under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance. To clarify, I would feel the same way if it said "under Allah" or "under Vishnu". Mixing Church and State always yeilds prejudice. And gay marriage should be legal. If someone can give me ONE good reason why gay marriage should be outlawed that doesn't include references to the Bible, God, Jesus, or any other religious figure, then I will reward you greatly.
