I'm alot cooler than alot of people.
There is nothing really to post about other than the over-done cliche first day of school.
So I guess I'm going to post about stupid things people have said to me, along with some back story into why what they said was so stupid.
Ok, one time last year during Algebra II, I had brought my copy of Strong Bad Sings and Other Type Hits. Things were going dandy and people were laughing at the funny songs and how cool they were, then Andrea Massar looks at me and says:
"Is this Adam Sandler?"
"No, it's Strong Bad and Homestar Runner," I replied.
"I think think it's Adam Sandler," she corrected, as if I was the uninformed one.
I just look at her for a few seconds, and then looked away. She sat there, proud that she figured out who was singing. (It wasn't Adam Sandler. At all.)
Ok, this other time I was peacefully reading a Terry Goodkind book before the BSAP was to start, and sitting in front of me was Tomas Rodgers. He turned around and asked what I was reading. I showed him my book, The Stone of Tears.
"Sounds weird," he said as he grabbed it out from my hands and read the back cover.
Now, the back cover of the Stone of Tears makes the book sound like a cheesey love story, which it is in someways, but mostly it's an ass-kicking fantasy. Tomas was so tickled by the thought that I was reading a love story that he had to share it with everyone around us. He then looked inside the cover and saw a picture of Mr. Goodkind.
"Wow, what a freak," he said "I cant believe he writes love stories. This sounds like a really gay book. Just cause he doesn't have a job doesnt mean that he can write stupid shit like this."
"He's an artist," I began, trying to explain that Mr. Goodkind did in fact have a job.
"Just cause someone writes cheesey books and is all gothic doesn't make them an artist," he said, completely missing my point.
I took my book back and continued to read. Tomas continued to be an uniformed douche bag.
Ok, some guy I don't even know named Omi said he almost felt sorry for me based on one thing I said. I then read alot of what he had written, and it turns out that I am the one who feels sorry for him. Also in this same time frame some guy I don't know named Stephen called me simple. He then went and used the word "Vengance" to describe a retort I had made because either he thought it made him sound cool, or he thought it made him made him sound smart. During his whole tirade against retorts, he effectively owned his girlfriend at the same time.
Stupid people suck.
